STCU Provides the English Courses for Scientists

A great number of the STCU projects participants expressed a need to improve their English language skills. The scientists consider lack of such skills to be a serious impediment for participating in the STCU partnering events and international scientific conferences, communications with collaborators and potential partners, working on project documentation, etc.

The STCU decided to organize the English courses for scientists in the framework of the Targeted Trainings Program. The English lessons for Kyiv-based projects participants are planned to start in September 2006. Project Managers are to identify representatives of their project teams for English learning and fill out the STCU Application Form.

In cooperation with language schools and academies the STCU will review received information to create the learning groups and to adjust the course to specific needs of the scientists.
