Meeting with Director of the Georgian National Science Foundation

On 29 August, Mr. Archil Motsonelidze, Director of the Georgian National Science Foundation hosted a meeting with the STCU Deputy Executive Director (USA) Vic Korsun and Deputy Executive Director (EU) Michel Zayet to discuss future collaborative research measures linking Georgian scientists to STCU activities.

The discussion included Targeted Research and Development Initiatives Program (TRDP) where Georgia plans a financial contribution for 2007 to be matched by Western Funding Parties, a possible IPR roundtable and a Workshop to promote local scientific capabilities and develop commercialization opportunities.

The meeting contributed into the developing ties between the STCU and Georgian National Science Foundation.
