STCU Participated in the National Ukrainian Exhibition in Chicago, December 14-16, 2006

On December 14-16, 2006 Deputy Executive Director (USA) Vic Korsun participated in the Ukrainian National Exhibition, held in Chicago, USA.

Also attending were Ukrainian governmental officials led by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Tabachnyk; the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Mr. Shamshur; the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Mr. Jorge Zukoski and representatives of Ukrainian leading enterprises and scientific-research organizations.

The Exhibition showcased over 50 Ukrainian companies that had booths exhibiting their products for possible partnering and sales opportunities with US companies. The Exhibition also featured Panel presentation sessions discussing various Ukrainian economic aspects important for US business participating in Ukraine.

The STCU sponsored the Science and Technology Panel Session with participation by Academician Shpak, Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and other speakers. Vic Korsun made a presentation about the support provided by STCU to Ukrainian scientists and scientific institutions. He also highlighted various technology opportunities that are available for licensing or product development.
