Board 37, 13 December 2013
The thirty seventh Meeting of the Governing Board of the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine convened on 12-13 December, 2012.
The session was hosted by and held at the Academy of Science of Azerbaijan in Baku. Officials from the STCU Governing Parties of the European Union, Ukraine, and the United States of America participated in this meeting. Also present were government officials and other representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration, the U.S. Department of State and the STCU Secretariat.
The Board approved $503,510 and €778,573 in science research projects. Confirmed new partner projects and extenstions approved since the 36th STCU Board of Governors for a total of $4,005,347 & €332,285.
The 2014 Administrative Operating Budget was endorsed as presented. Parties approved revised STCU partner regulations which expands the framework for the STCU implementing Partner projects from industrial companies and universities from Non-member countries.
In STCU Transformation agenda the Board also reviewed the Center's new Vision and Mission statements with a final text to be approved by January 31st, 2014. The Parties also discussed new partner opportunities within TI program and its possible expansion to be discussed at the next Governing Board.
