STCU Donates Computers and other Office Equipment to Local Ukrainian School

On November 24, 2004 an STCU delegation which included Executive Director Andrew Hood, Chief Administrative Officer David Cleave and Maintenance Supervisor, Victor Rossihin, visited Kiev School #121. The STCU delegation was met by School Principal Larisa Datsenko who gave them a tour of the school with a focus on the recently donated equipment. The STCU donated 15 computers as well as printers and photocopiers to the school for the use of both pupils and staff.

The donation of the computers and other equipment has allowed the school to open an after school computer room where pupils can use various educational as well as foreign language study software.

Committe composed of staff, parents and pupils also decided to grant one of the computers to recent graduate Olena Dobrutska, a disabled student who is now studying at the Ukraina International University of Human Development.
